nextdegreen.com is run by Next Degree Network, a brand of Prospect Digital LLC, registered in Wyoming, at 1621 Central Ave, #68675, Cheyenne, WY 82001. These terms apply when you use the website or sign up for deadline texts. If you disagree with them, please leave the site.
What the site is
Next Degree Network publishes free articles about student aid, college applications and choosing a program. It is not a government agency and is not affiliated with the U.S. Department of Education, Federal Student Aid, any state agency or any college. We do not award, lend, broker or arrange aid, and we do not file forms on anyone’s behalf.
Our articles are general information. They are not financial, legal or tax advice, and they cannot account for your own circumstances. The office that runs each program has the final word on it.
What we will never do
We will never charge you to file the FAFSA or any other free government form. We will never ask for your FSA ID password. We will never tell you how much aid a school or program will give you, because only they can decide that.
Signing up
When you sign up for deadline texts you confirm that you are 18 or older, or have a parent’s or guardian’s permission, and that the details you give are yours and correct. You can change them or close your sign-up whenever you like by contacting us.

Next Degree Network (nextdegreen.com) sends recurring automated marketing text messages from Next Degree Network to people who ask for them: reminders about student aid dates for the state and stage they choose, notes about new articles, and messages about their sign-up, including its confirmation and replies to HELP and STOP.
How you opt in
You opt in by entering your mobile number on the deadline texts page and checking the text message box, which is never checked for you. No other page on nextdegreen.com asks for a mobile number.
Consent
Consent is not a condition of purchase or service. You can read every page of this site without signing up for texts.
Message frequency
Message frequency varies, with no more than 4 messages per month.
Message and data rates
Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan. We do not charge for our messages.
Opting out
Reply STOP at any time to opt out and cancel. You will receive a single confirmation and no further messages.

Limits on our responsibility
Aid rules, dates and amounts change every year and sometimes during the year. We check our articles and correct them when we learn of a change, but we cannot warrant that every page is current. To the extent the law allows, Next Degree Network is not liable for loss arising from your use of the site or from a decision you make based on it.
Changes to these terms
From time to time we revise these terms. The date at the top shows the current version, and using the site after a revision means you accept it.
